Custom Orders & Design Approval Policy
Custom Orders & Design Approval Policy
At BloomLine Designs, many of our products are created specifically for each customer. Custom orders may include personalized text, business information, logos, graphics, QR codes, NFC technology, colors, sizing, layouts, and other customer-selected details.
To ensure your finished product is created as accurately as possible, please carefully review the following policy before approving your design.
Customer-Supplied Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when placing an order. This may include:
-
Names, dates, wording, and spelling
-
Business names and contact information
-
Social media usernames and handles
-
Website addresses and URLs
-
QR code destinations
-
NFC link destinations
-
Logos, graphics, photographs, or other artwork
-
Color, size, and design selections
-
Any other information required to complete the order
BloomLine Designs may contact you if clarification or additional information is needed before your order can proceed.
Design Proofs
When applicable, a digital design proof will be provided for review before production begins.
Please carefully review all elements of your proof, including spelling, grammar, dates, contact information, sizing, layout, colors, QR or NFC destinations, and overall design.
Production will begin after the required design approval has been received.
Proof Approval
Approval of a design proof indicates that you have reviewed and accepted the design as shown and have confirmed that the information included is correct.
Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may no longer be possible.
BloomLine Designs is not responsible for errors that were:
-
Supplied incorrectly by the customer;
-
Visible on and included in an approved proof; or
-
Approved by the customer before production.
If a replacement is requested because of customer-supplied or customer-approved information, the customer will be responsible for the cost of producing and shipping the replacement.
If BloomLine Designs produces an item that differs from the approved proof due to an error on our part, we will work with you to correct the issue at no additional cost.
Changes & Revisions
Minor design changes may be requested before final approval and before production begins.
Minor adjustments that do not significantly change the original order generally will not incur an additional charge.
Requests that substantially change the original design, dimensions, materials, quantity, complexity, or scope of the project may result in an adjustment to the order price. Any additional charges will be communicated before we proceed.
Once production has begun, additional changes may not be possible.
Colors & Digital Proofs
Colors displayed on computer monitors, tablets, and mobile devices may vary from the appearance of the finished product. Differences may also occur due to materials, printing methods, engraving, lighting, screen settings, and manufacturing processes.
Digital proofs are intended to represent the general appearance and layout of the finished design but should not be considered an exact representation of physical color or material appearance.
Customer-Supplied Logos, Images & Artwork
Customers are responsible for providing artwork of sufficient quality for their requested product.
Low-resolution, blurry, pixelated, incomplete, or otherwise unsuitable files may affect the finished appearance. If we believe an artwork file may not produce an acceptable result, we may request a higher-quality version before proceeding.
By submitting logos, photographs, graphics, artwork, trademarks, or other content to BloomLine Designs, the customer confirms that they have the necessary permission or rights to use that content and authorize BloomLine Designs to reproduce it for the purpose of fulfilling their order.
QR Codes
Customers are responsible for verifying that all URLs and information supplied for QR-coded products are accurate and lead to the intended destination.
When a QR code is included in a design proof, customers should verify the destination before approving the design.
BloomLine Designs is not responsible for QR codes that later become inaccessible because a customer changes, deletes, moves, restricts, or otherwise modifies the website, social media account, file, form, or third-party destination associated with the QR code.
We also cannot guarantee the continued availability or functionality of websites, social media platforms, applications, or other third-party services outside of our control.
NFC Products
For products containing NFC technology, customers are responsible for confirming the information or destination they would like associated with the NFC function.
NFC functionality can vary depending on the device, device settings, operating system, placement of the NFC reader within the device, protective cases, and other factors outside of BloomLine Designs' control.
While we take care to verify NFC functionality during production when applicable, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device or future operating system.
BloomLine Designs is not responsible for the continued operation, availability, or policies of third-party websites, applications, social media platforms, or services accessed through an NFC product.
Production Approval
Once final approval is received, your order may immediately move into production.
Approval authorizes BloomLine Designs to manufacture your product according to the approved design and specifications. Because materials and production time may be committed immediately following approval, orders generally cannot be canceled, refunded, or substantially changed once production has begun.
Our Commitment
We take pride in creating custom products that our customers are excited to receive. Our proof and approval process is designed to give you an opportunity to review your design carefully before it becomes a finished product.
If anything on your proof does not look right or you are unsure about a detail, please contact us before approving the design. We would much rather make an adjustment before production than have you receive something that is not what you expected.
